Barbara Ann Corcoran

Barbara Ann Corcoran is an American businesswoman from America. The Corcoran Group was a New York City real estate brokerage she established. NRT purchased it for $66 million in 2001. Corcoran eventually left the business. Corcoran is one of ABC’s initial Shark Tank investors. As of now, she has been in each seasons of Shark Tank. She has been involved in 53 deals as of February of 2020. The biggest was a $350,000 investment that will cover 40 percent of Coverplay. Corcoran was the second of a family of 10 kids who was born in Edgewater. Florence Corcoran was Florence's mom and was a homemaker. Edwin W. Corcoran Jr. was her father during Corcoran's early years. The family relied on food delivered by the local grocer who would deliver free food. Corcoran recalls her father as one who occasionally consumed too much alcohol and treated her mother with disrespect and contempt, particularly when he'd been drinking. Corcoran had difficulty in school, and she was later told she was dyslexic. Corcoran started high school in St. Cecilia High School Englewood after she had left her Catholic elementary school. Corcoran was fluent in several courses during her first year. She was transferred to Leonia High School and graduated with a D.
